I bought an HP printer about 5 months ago and hadn't been able to use it because it kept saying it was offline - my computer and the printer didn't see eye-to-eye no matter what I tried (and the HP help was Beyond Useless!!!). No use having a printer if I couldn't use it. John came around, and sorted it out - very friendly, knows what he's doing, isn't greedy when it comes to price. I would recommend him any day. John responded very well to the problems I reported, assessed what might be needed, then visited my office to attend to the printers. Sorted the problems there and then, advised me on next steps with the toner cartridges and the charge for his time was very reasonable. Excellent!
John was responsive after I contacted him, gave me an analysis and fair warning about the risks of fixing the problem. He arrived on time, confirmed that the printer was like unfixable, and charged a reasonable fee for it. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful, and I would recommend him.
On the back of a recommendation, I gave John a call to fix two printers which had failed on me in the same day. Not only did he give advice over the phone for the first, but was able to visit me in short order to ascertain the solution to fix the second, and give some advice on other printers we own, saving us plenty of money in the process. With working printers a necessity in my business, we needed an on-call service provider, and I think we may have found our man!
Having extensively tried myself to fix my (excellent) Dell 2135CN multifunction printer (lots of online help), I drove (by agreement) my unresponsive device to John's workshop, where he eventually resolved what turned out to be an extremely awkward issue related to a printed circuit board. He kept in regular touch, maintained his quotation (even acquiring a second hand printer at his own cost, with associated risks!) and restored its performance for less than £100 (even throwing in the spare toners he received with his spare parts!). Incredible service justifying all the previous feedback I read about. I'm glad to genuinely add to it.

John fixed our office printer which we thought had printed its last page but with John’s knowledge he advised us on what part we needed to fix it. Called PrintFix, spoke with John who was very knowledgeable and patient. Explained the problem I had with my Epson printer, sent him a few photos of the pieces I thought were faulty. John diagnosed the problem remotely, ordered new spares for me and came by to my home to install them and fix it. This was our first experience with John and I must say everything went very well. He quickly diagnosed the fault and told us what parts needed to be replaced and he cleaned the printer. Admittedly, after the parts were replaced there was still a minor problem with the printer, but John came back and repaired at no extra cost. He also replaced the broken part in the second printer and cleaned it too, all for a reasonable price.

John is a consummate professional in his field. A year ago, he solved a paper jam problem with my Epson printer, so when I got an immoveable paper jam in my shredder, he was my obvious port of call. In spite of it not lying in his speciality, he kindly agreed to have a look at it. I left it with him to strip down and inspect. He readily identified where the fault lay, and tried to obtain the necessary spare part but, sadly, that proved impossible. Not for want of effort on John's part. I was most grateful for his efforts, and can happily recommend him to anyone else requiring similar technical assistance.
